Launched by Impulse, Impulse Salon is redefining the design and PR landscape as an interdisciplinary event with fresh perspectives and bold creative formats.

A dynamic social media campaign featuring a unique dance performance teased the transformation of a brand-new Berlin space, building anticipation ahead of its grand opening. Guests finally stepped into the fully reimagined apartment in Berlin-Mitte, curated by Nici Theuerkauf and the Impulse team in collaboration with top brands and creatives.

The experience was rounded off with the Impulse Salon Talk, hosted by Valerie Präkelt, featuring key voices like Note Design Studio, VAUST Studio, and Constanze Ladner. With an exclusive guest list of 55+ media representatives, 40+ influencers, 50+ architects, and 30+ creatives, Impulse Salon delivered a high-energy, future-focused exchange—setting a new standard for inspiration in design.

On a cold November day, Impulse welcomed press and influencers to Hamburg to explore the topic of mental and physical well-being together with our partner Stoov—a Dutch brand creating sustainable, warming interior accessories.

During an insightful and intimate workshop with mindfulness coach and well-being expert Sarah Desai, we explored ways to align our minds and relax our bodies through exercises that can be incorporated intoeveryday life. Over a nourishing brunch, guests connected with each other and learnt about Stoov’s collection ofcosy textile products, designed to enhance well-being during winter.

The 2022 summer edition of Impulse’s exclusive, annual Press Day event was hosted at the beautiful Villa Mignon under the theme Design Tivoli. This year’s full-day event was extra special, as it also marked Impulse’s 20th anniversary.

Over the course of the day, the Impulse team celebrated everything and everyone who has been part of our 20-year journey. Through vibrant displays in the Villa’s rooms—each celebrating the latest products from our partners—and a series of inspiring talks, we emphasised the passion, creativity and community that defines the Impulse brand and our incredible clients.

Montana— Factory Press Tour

September 2022
Funen, Denmark

Project:

To celebrate iconic Danish furniture brand Montana’s 40th anniversary, Impulse invited the German-speaking press to visit Montana’s factory in Haarby on the Danish island of Funen. Montana’s extensive and constantly evolving colour palette was celebrated through a tour of the newly renovated factory created in collaboration with London-based artist Camilla Walala.

Day one of the two-day event included an exclusive dinner in Montana’s showroom with Camilla Walala and Danish colour expert Margrethe Odgaard. The second day was spent at the factory with a presentation by Camilla Walala and CEO Joakim Lassen, followed by lunch at Montana Lab.

“It was such an honour creating a design for Montana’s 40th anniversary. I had a beautiful and bold canvas to play with on their factory. I was inspired by their iconic modular shapes, and it was both a joy and a challenge to work with Montana's colour palette developed by Margrethe Odgaard.”

Impulse Digital Press Day— The Pleasure of Home

August 2021
International

When home became the only place to be during the 2020 pandemic, millions of people formed a new perspective on their living spaces. More than a place to eat and sleep, the need for safety and comfort at home was heightened, inspiring many people to optimize their spatial sense of well-being. The digital edition of our annual Press Day celebrated the new meaning of ‘home’—how we can bring more creativity and pleasure to living spaces.

Together with our partners, Impulse transformed a stunning historic apartment in Berlin into a design exhibition titled ‘The Pleasure of Home’, showcasing our brands’ furniture, accessories and art. The virtual tour was streamed live and included themed talks with partners Farrow & Ball, Montana, Sofacompany, Urbanara, and more.
